Nightmare on the Road

Last night really a nightmare for all people living in Jakarta. Yes you know that Jakarta's traffic is not really friendly with us. And the condition become worst when the rain comes in the afternoon. Flood, traffic jam, stuck on road will be our best friend:)

And last night was the worst traffic jam ever in my life. Maybe for all people in Jakarta feel the same.

Distance from my house to office is only about 10 km. At normal traffic it only takes 30 minutes. In the morning (rush hour) let say I need almost 1 hour to get to the office (gosh). But last night, guess what?

10 km for 3,5 hours !! Stuck & free parking at the same position for almost 2 hour. That's crazy!! Walking is even faster I guess. Can't imagine when all people predict the growth of vehicle in Jakarta is faster than the infrastructure, and it will be TOTAL traffic jam in 2014. *SIGH

So, I guess I need to move out from this fu*kin' city before 2014. I really don't want to spend 1/3 of my day inside the car. Maybe I will move to New Zealand *in my dream LoL

Bistik Daging Lapis

Holaaa...

Udah lamaa banget ngga masak2 dan baking. Setelah kembali dr Miyazaki dulu masih sempat bikin pizza, cake, dll, tp ngga sempat difoto dan diposting. Sekarang setelah kerja & pindah k Jakarta, rasanya udah ngga sempat lagi masak. Senin-jum'at full kerja. Sabtu minggu pengen nyante-nyante aja, seharian leyeh2 di rumah. Atau pergi nge-mall sm teman2 atau pacar.

Disamping itu di kosan peralatan masaknya ngga memadai. Jadilah sementara waktu saya melupakan hobby saya masak & baking. Huhuhu

Tapi ternyata saya ngga bisa berlama2 meninggalkan masak. Setelah sang pacar pindah ke apartemen & punya dapur sendiri, akhirnya saya mulai meluangkan waktu lagi utk sesekali memasak. Sesekali juga blog walking lihat2 resep biar terinspirasi utk mulai masak & baking lagi.

And yes, I feel great & happy when I'm cooking:)

so.. here we go.. Bistik Daging Lapis, yg saya ambil resepnya dari webnya bu Herti. Makasih ya Bu Herti:)
Bahan:

• 500 gr daging has dalam, iris tipis melebar (saya cuma pake 250gr aja)
• 1 btr telur, kocok lepas
• 2 sdm minyak goreng
• 3 sdm mentega
• 400 ml air panas

Bumbu:

• 1/2 bh bawang bombay, iris
• 2-3 sng bawang putih, geprek, cincang halus
• 2 bh tomat sedang, cincang halus
• 2 sdm kecap manis
• 5 sdm saus tomat
• 1/2- 3/4 sdt garam
• 1/2 sdt merica
• 1/4 sdt pala
• 1 sdt gula pasir

Cara membuat:

• Panaskan minyak goreng, kemudian tambahkan mentega.
• Tumis bawang putih hingga harum, masukkan bawang bombay, aduk hingga keluar aromanya.
• Masukkan daging, aduk hingga berubah warna.
• Masukkan semua bumbu.
• Tuang telur kedalamnya, aduk hingga berbutir2.
• Tambahkan 200 ml air panas, masak dengan api kecil.
• Setelah kuah menyusut, tambahkan kembali sisa air.
• Masak kembali dengan api kecil, hingga bumbu menyerap dan kuah mengental menyelimuti daging.

Note: Air panas dimasukkan bertahap, agar bumbu meresap dengan baik ke dalam daging.

Mudah2an rasanya enak. Karena ini bikinnya sambil puasa, jadi ngga bisa icip2. Hehehe

An Escaping Holiday @ Bali

Bali island.. It just awesome. I had a very great time, enjoying an escaping holiday just one day before my annual sales conference in Bali. So, this is a free journey since I don't need to pay airplane ticket. LoL

lot and When people says that Bali is paradise, I do agree. Once you know the information, you'll find lots of natural beauty secret that you'll never imagine before. Bali is not only about kuta, tanahjimbaran. But it still has many secret that will make you really want to spend a full week to explore this adorable gift from God.

Let's start with Taman Ujung in Karangasem. Not a very popular tourism destination, but this 1,5 hours trip by car from Denpasar is really worth ed. It's easy to find rental car in Denpasar. For one day trip we need to pay Rp 170,000,- per day for the car (exclude gasoline) plus driver fee Rp 75,000,- per 8 hours. For gasoline spending, it just up to your journey. But we spent around Rp 130.000,- for a full day trip.

Taman Ujung is a water palace which was built in 1919. Ujung Water Palace was majestically built to welcome and to serve important guests and Kings from neighboring countries, besides for the pleasure of the King and his royal family. A great view from a very beautiful water palace, combined with excellent blue sky & magnificent sea view.

Then we visited a small virgin beach called Bloo Lagoon. Not a big beach, its like a private beach. in a god weather and when the sky is blue, the color of this beach will be very awesome. But unfortunately when we visited this beach, it was a little bit cloudy. May be I should visit this beach next time.
And the next day I have my Mid Year Sales Meeting at Intercontinental Hotel. Great days, great team, great sunset, great dinner and Great Bali.. I love my Job.. :) Thanks God

Family Visit, tour d' Jakarta

My family is coming to the town... !! yeaay

I've been staying in Jakarta for more than one year, but this is my first time visited by whole family member. Previously my father came and visited me more than 4 times, together with his business trip to Jakarta. This one is also his business trip, but very special since my mother and my sister also join him. yeaayy I'm soooo happy

I couldn't pick them up at airport since there was crazy traffic jam at my office. I don't want they wait too long at the airport, so I suggest my father to take shuttle bus from airport and meet me somewhere.

We had a great day. Great Days actually :) So we start tour de Jakarta 2010.. So this is our iteneray. Enjoy *wink*

3 wonderful days, but so sad it flies so fast. Time to back to work again. I will really miss them. No worries, the distance will effect nothing to us:)

1st Hot Air Balloon Festival at Indonesia

What do you think about the picture? Cool, isn't it? But it doesn't represent what I saw at 1st Indonesian Hot Air Balloon Festival at Sentul City, West Java.

The festival was held from 26-28 March 2010. First time knowing this festival, my friends and I really excited. Must see event ! So we planned to see this festival on 28 March, last day. We went there with a full charge battery and empty memory camera. LoL. We wanted to take looooooooooot of pictures.

But unfortunately, when we arrived around 1 PM we saw NOTHING. Nothing..? How come? People told us that the weather wasn't good enough to support the balloon to fly. We were little bit unlucky. It was cloudy and light rain there. We stayed there about 1 hour, but the sun was still hiding behind the grey cloud. So, we decided to go back home without any pictures, without any experience about hot air balloon. But I still have a simple story to share with :)

Yes indeed, it was disappointing. But it's okay. The 2nd festival is coming next year and I hope I get the chance to see it. So, nothing to worry about :)

What a Lovely March

I start this March with a very lovely start. Starting from 1st March, I officially graduated from Management Trainee Program. I will became Unit Manager for Modern Trade. After passing trough a year which full of tears and sorrow (hahaha.. too much.. Kidding. It was a wonderful year, I swear) Finally I became permanent employee, and I can get all my rights as Permanent Employee also.. Yatta !!

Then at 5th March I escaped from my routine. I toke one day off. To have 3 days family trip t to S'pore with my boyfriend family. My last visit to S'pore was almost 10 years ago. I still remember the vacation but I forgot the detail. I wonder I have more time and more money to walk around and shopping.. Hahaha.. I'm saving my money to visit S'pore again to try spectacular ride at Universal Studio Singapore (I wish it will be during this year)

After coming back from S'pore. I had Sales Annual Meeting at Sultan Hotel, continued by Company Annual Meeting 2010 at Jakarta Convention Center. The show, theme, guest star, and everything just awesome. Really want to work hard to get reward from company if we achieve 2010 target. Ganbarimasu...
